Local Heating Company
AMD Heating is a heating and boiler engineering company that provides local services to people. It is an old established family business that has finally decided to move into the 21st Century! One of the sons in the business persuaded his father to embrace technology and think about getting a website to continue to compete with other local companies.
After consulting with the family we all concluded that a one page website was sufficient for their needs at this time, and we agreed to review it in 18 months time. As none of the family have time to maintain the site they decided to take a Care Plan so that they could get on with their business while we look after the website.
Project Overview
This was a first time journey into the world of the world wide web for this old established family business.
The challenge here was to decide on whether a full website with several pages or a one page website was better suited at this moment in time. It was decided that as this was the companies first step into the world of technology that a one page site would suit their needs at this time.
A one page scrolling site that used menu anchor links designed using the companies brand colours and a remake of their old logo.
